On January 14, 2007, Kline ran his 1st marathon in honor of Chelsey Campbell. Chelsey was the inspiration for the creation of Snowdrop Foundation.

Wanting to bring awareness to pediatric cancer, in December, 2009 Kline ran across Texas. This 13-day, 482 mile solo run is the subject of the award winning, full-length documentary film DEAR CHELSEY.

During the scorching July Houston heat in 2015, Kline ran a marathon per day for 18 consecutive days to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

Kline was selected to run Italy’s prestigious Ultra Milano Sanremo in May 2017. He  finished 13th overall and was the only American to officially complete the difficult 180 miles with a time of 47 hours and 28 minutes.

Kline finished 25th at the 2017 US 24-Hour National Championship running 101.4 miles in 23 hours and 14 minutes.

Since that first marathon 11 years ago Kline has run over 160 marathons/ultramarathons in 47 states on 4 continents.
